What I Learned by Age...by Morgan Summer (@MorganSummer15)
5 - It is not a good idea to give the cat a bath, even if they are dirty. Cats don’t like baths.
10 - It is best to stop tickling your sister when she says please because if you don’t, she will bite you. Then you will get in trouble for not stopping and she gets in trouble for biting. It is a lose, lose situation.
15 - That boys will lie to get what they want from you in a relationship. My mom was right, they will do it with a knot hole in the fence.
20 - That you cannot save them all, especially when you need saving first. My mom said I brought home every stray in the county and she didn’t mean the pet variety.
25 - That even after seven years of college and some student loan debt, you still have no idea what you want to be when you grow up and that is ok.
30 - That motherhood is tough, and there is no one right way to parent. The day you leave the hospital, you only leave with the baby and not a manual on how to parent them until they go to college.
35 - That dreams can come true at any age, but they can also change. What you thought you wanted years ago may not be what you want today. Do the unknown and then do it again.
