Wonder
I am still occasionally inclined to write poetry. It is usually observational or heady-philosophical in nature. I suppose this piece is no exception.
Wonder
Tossing a stone in a lake creates a ripple
Stretching wide
Until we no longer watch it expand
But does that ripple stop?
Or is it the start of something too great
Too magnificent
Too much
For us to comprehend?
So much is unknown
So much can still be discovered
But maybe
We aren’t meant to find all the answers
Maybe
We are born
To wonder …
