Portfolio & Skills
Here are some of my favorite examples of my video scriptwriting, integrated campaigns, design, photography, and many more crucial skills I can offer as a writer and content professional in a full-time or freelance capacity.
If you would like more information on any project, please reach out.
Imarc’s “Strategically yours” Tagline & Content
As Imarc’s Senior Content Strategist, I led the messaging portion of our recent rebrand. My favorite contribution to this project, which came together after months of collaborative work with our leadership and other strategy and creative team members was the tagline, “Strategically yours.”
Of it, I said, “The tagline is the culmination of many concepts. It uses the word ‘strategy,’ which we believe all our team members care about. It signals partnership without being too obvious. It hints at the types of partnerships we want to create with brands. Dynamic ones. Ones like ours. Most importantly though, it creates an impression and sets the tone for the rest of our messaging.”
You can read more about the project in their case study.
I also work on producing blogs, case studies, and many other content types for Imarc. While I write a lot of pieces as myself, I have a hand in the rest of the content at large in terms of strategy and direction.
Kents Hill School’s Marketing
Social Media Content Creation & Management
From November 2020 through September 2021, I created the bulk of the written and visual content for Kents Hill School’s social networks, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. I also oversaw many of the new videos posted to YouTube.
Upon joining Kents Hill School I was tasked with launching a blog. All content was concepted and written by me other than the articles contributed by a now alumna of the school, Kellie Scott ’21 who I ran an Independent Study for. At the time of launch, it was called “The Kents Hill Insider,” but it has since rebranded as “Kents Hill Today.”
Kents Hill Today: Blog Writing
While I wrote many others, these are some of my best:
Endicott College Integrated Marketing
Custom Social Shareable Gifs
My boss and I wanted to bring more team spirit and fun into our social shareables, so I came up with the idea of creating “Gull Gifs.” We shot mini videos and converted them to GIF format, and made a Giphy account to make them shareable. We also kept the original videos for use on game days and for other promotions that needed something special, but repeatable.
The entire group is available here.
Soundings Magazine: Magazine Writing
Even after leaving Endicott College, I wrote their major stories in their alumni magazine, “Soundings,” both online and in the print edition. Images and links to several of my articles are below.
Student-Athletes Show Leadership During COVID-19
The Endicott College Athletics & Recreation department and their student-athletes kept their home and fellow Gulls healthy by staffing the COVID-19 Testing Center.
Scriptwriting: Endicott’s 2019 Year-In-Review
One of my proudest accomplishments at Endicott College was receiving the opportunity to write President Steven R. DiSalvo, Ph.D.’s 2019 Year-In-Review video script. The tone was uplifting and inspiring.
Scriptwriting: Endicott’s Video Celebrating 2020
This project came about at the request of the Endicott Alumni Association. I was the main scriptwriter, and Tory Pilbin, the Director of Alumni Relations, worked to facilitate the at-home “shoots” during the pandemic. The editing was completed by Robert Palardy.

Copywriting: Boutique Hotel Niche
As your host, we strive to provide rooms that are as special as the guests that stay in them. Each of our 16 guest rooms has a unique theme with specially chosen items that will make your stay more pleasurable.
THE BIRCH ROOM
Beautiful birch trees are a New England staple, but that abundance doesn't diminish their appeal in the least. With grays, blacks, and whites in stunning patterns, this chic room is sure to inspire relaxation and a feeling of peace.
THE LILAC ROOM
The Lilac Room features tasteful touches of purple, gray, and green. From small accent plants and a cozy purple throw to buttoned up bed pillows and ceramic coasters, this room urges you to enjoy the little things in life. Luxuriate in lilac!
THE CATCH ROOM
Lucky you! You caught one of the best resort rooms! Themed with fish, mermaids and sea stars, it's a place of dreamy calm. Colors include blues of all shades, grays, and teals.
THE STONE ROOM
As New Hampshire is the Granite State, this room was inspired by slate grays, the local favorite, America’s Stonehenge, and the Old Man in the Mountain.
THE AUTUMN ROOM
Is there a more magical time in New England than Autumn? Beautiful colors and unique, yet rich flavors are everywhere and that is exactly what we were thinking about when we decorated this room. If you stay in this room, we think you'll be able to feel the clove and apple cider in your soul...
THE HARBOR ROOM
Tugboats, buoys and incredible sunsets...yes, the Harbor Room was brought into this world with all the above in mind. Reds, blues and nautical touches are par for the course in this classic space.
THE LIGHTHOUSE ROOM
From Nubble to Portsmouth Harbor, lighthouses are a standard of the American and the New England brand. From fun lamps and seascapes to colors that make you reminisce about the surf and sand, this room has it all.
THE WINE ROOM
Ah vino! Who doesn't enjoy a glass? We certainly do! Featuring rich purples, reds and greens, this room will have you feeling like a royal with a penchant for sommelier school.
THE BLUEBERRY ROOM
Any New England Resort would be remiss to discount the natural wonder of blueberries. With blueberries having such a deep and luscious tone and taste, it's easy to see why this room captures hearts.
THE GREEN ROOM
No - don't worry - you aren't about to be on TV in this room (though there is one for your use!) The Green Room is our way of saying a tasteful thank you to our golf course and the incredible clientele who use it each year. Greens of all shades give this room the feel of a restful canopy or soft golf green with trees surrounding.
THE MAPLE ROOM
Consider this room a low-calorie substitute for your favorite sugary sweet. This sip of syrup style room is graced by carefully chosen browns and warm reds.
THE MOUNTAIN ROOM
Climbing a mountain is arguably all about the view from the top. In this room you will find whites, blues and purples along with sunset-inspired touches. Relax - you're already at the summit.
THE ALL AMERICAN ROOM
If your theme song is “Born in the USA” and your favorite colors are red, white and blue, you will be in for a treat with this room. Featuring Americana elements of all kinds, this space will have you feeling patriotic even while you sleep!
THE FOREST ROOM
Imagine yourself in a canopy of leaves. In the Forest Room you will already be there. Natural green shades evoke a sense of peace and harmony. Sleep easy within this space.
THE ATKINSON SUITE
The Atkinson Suite is the largest of our resort accommodations, and with good reason. As the only suite, we thought it fitting to dedicate it to the Town of Atkinson! This historical spot is perfect for those who seek to find things to enrich their mind.

Photography & Copy
I shot the six featured images and concepted the tagline “Different Notes, Same Symphony,” on behalf of the sister restaurants Michelle’s on Market and the Dolphin Striker.
I also shot / art-directed the image used in a magazine advertisement. It involved off-camera lighting and interior design.
Shooting food is an exceptional opportunity to control an entire environment, pulling out the best of it and you.
Graphic Design
I did some graphic design work for a wine subscription company. Some of the drafts are here.
Book Arts
While I have spent my most recent years in the marketing space, I also have direct experience with book arts creation and exhibition.
Mixed Media
Project Management
In 2019, I decided to start hosting guest bloggers on my website. I sourced the writers, compiled and uploaded the posts, and promoted them via my various social media channels. Through 2022, I ran the same initiative. It demonstrates my ability to work with others and my belief in collaboration.
Gallery Direction
One of my first dreams was to be a Gallery Director, and I achieved that dream in my final year of college before beginning work in franchising and marketing. Someday, I hope my two worlds will merge or that I can do some more freelance work in the gallery/curatorial space. This slideshow illustrates some of my design abilities (which have grown significantly), but more so my network of artists and curation ability for both a volunteer gallery (Exeter Arts Committee) or a paid post (Soo Rye Art Gallery).
During my first job interview as a graduate archaeologist, I was presented with an assortment of broken rocks and asked how I would separate the natural stones from the knapped cultural artefacts. Eager to impress my prospective employers I dove into the bag, examining each object carefully and placing them in either pile, describing to the interviewer which clues I found to discern their natures.
‘That’s all correct,’ the interviewer said afterwards, sweeping the rocks she’d taken from the car park into the bin. ‘Though it would probably have been easier if you’d just asked me the context they were found in.’
